So what’s new with Jemlar?
This month we unveiled this spanking new website. It has the same easy to navigate style of the old one, but with lots of new goodies, in the form of the flash media clips (see the product pages), showing our lovely simulators in action and of course most importantly all our recent acquisitions.
Starting with the beautiful Full size Grand Prix unit simply the very best produce around of its type. Thank you & well done BRD this is your best simulator to date. Then the Full size Ford Focus WRC simulator and two more of the mini Rally / Tintop units.
We haven’t stood still with the Motorbike simulator either, we have continued to upgrade through the year, it now includes actuators in the tank so you can feel the throb of the bike through your seat and a working brake light.
We hope that a motion base for it will be in the offing quite soon.
Guess what?
We were almost on the TV again, Sky One’s program “The Race” were very interested in using the Grand Prix range for their recent trip to Silverstone.
Perhaps to their misfortune they didn’t. A little bit of driver training in our beauties could have saved them a big repair bill, after some celebrity bangs, crashes and a right off. Ouch!
Having been a huge Eddie Irvine fan I was shocked and nay a bit saddened at his comments on lady drivers in general. True enough those ladies picked for “The Race” were beyond poor, especially when teamed against an obviously stronger male side. I personally would have liked to see a more matched race.
My surprise of the whole thing was Mr David Coulthard, what a charming and thoroughly nice chap, despite the handicap of his dismal team.
Word to the wise if you’re reading this Mr C, simulator driver training before they get out on the track next time. It could balance up the driving field. Winks, wink nudge, nudge.
I wonder if they will make “The Rally” anything with the simply genius Sebastian Loeb in, you couldn’t tear me away from. Is it his consummate driving or the dulcet French accent?
I have visions of it now with Colin McRae for the men’s team. Mr Loeb for the ladies.
Do you think I’ll have time to become a 2 second celebrity, I’m sure that’s all I’ll need to get a drive. Let’s hope that Jade Goodie doesn’t get to hear about it. My goodness that girl has had her 15 minutes of fame or in her case infamy.
Thank you for reading my meandering. More instalments soon.
